Introduction

KK Security is one of the fastest growing Security Companies in Africa. Over the last decade, it has expanded geographically from its base in Kenya to become a regional force in seven countries. KK currently has operations in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, DRC and Burundi.

Its focus has moved towards large Agricultural, Industrial and NGO/Embassy contracts needing a dedicated management team and a motivated trained guard force. Where ever we operate our commitment is to offer ‘Service with Integrity’. For us this is much more than a by-line: integrity is integral to everything we do.

KK Security began operations in Kenya in 1967. It was started as a Guard Company in Mombasa and later expanded into Radio Alarms and Cash in Transit. It was bought by the current owners in 1993 and since then has expanded throughout Kenya and more recently throughout the region.

KK provides residential and commercial security in Africa. Its focus tends to remain with large corporate clients who are tired of being neglected by their security supplier. KK recognises that customers want a ‘hands-on’ approach by management. They want advice and recommendations, they want to reduce their dependence on manned-guarding, and they want a management team that can motivate their Guard Force through training and reward. We believe KK offers all this.

For the large Customer, KK has introduced the Security Management Team throughout Africa. This service fills the need for a specialised, dedicated team of professionals to concentrate on a specific client’s needs. KK has provided Security Management Teams to EABL in Kenya, to Illovo Sugar in Tanzania, at the hydroelectric dam project in Jinja and at the gold mines in Mwanza. KK also has dedicated Management teams and Local Guard Forces at the US Embassies in Tanzania and Kenya.
KK Security (Kenya) is owned by Kenya Kazi Limited and is the trading company in Nairobi. It has become the dominant provider to large corporate and NGO clients and currently has Contracts with the US Embassy, United Nations, the British High Commission, European Union and the Canadian High Commission in Nairobi. KK dominates the Guard and Alarm Markets in Nairobi, Mombasa Eldoret and Kisumu.
