KK Security Congo sprl  commenced operations in the  Democratic Republic of Congo, on 1 October 2002 in Goma, North Kivu. Since then, it has been providing and manned guarding and emergency alarm response services.   In March 2003, KK extended its services to South Kivu when it opened a branch office in Bukavu.   In 2005 KK was awarded the prestigious MONUC contract which saw  the company extend its manned guarding services to cover  Uvira; Kalemie; Kananga;  Beni; Kindu and Lubumbashi.   Other current customers include the Belgium Consulate General in Bukavu;   UNOCHA;  UNICEF; UNOPs; ICRC, IRC, OXFAM and many other international NGOs.   KK is the only security company providing Alarm Response services in both Goma and Bukavu. It also provides other technical security services such as CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems. The Company is strongly supported in this respect by its parent company in Nairobi.   The Company can also provide other Specialist services viz  escorts - bodyguards; drivers; receptionists, liaison services as well as office cleaning services.
