Your alarm can be triggered by different types of sensors. In the simplest form these sensors will be push-buttons. Other sensors include Passive Infrared Receivers, Magnetic Contacts, Vibration Sensors or Remote Panic Buttons. Once a sensor has been triggered, the Transmitter will send a VHF Radio Frequency signal to the Control Room.
