Answer

We do not want customers to make unnecessary calls on the Response Vehicles. Calling a Vehicle out can result in another customer not getting service in a real emergency. We're happy for you to call your Control Room and inform them that you wish to test the Alarm. Once you press the button the Controller will give you your name. That way you will know for certain that the Transmitter is working.
