The KK Group provides a comprehensive range of Security Products, which have been fully tested and comply with the internationally recognized standards. Central to our success is our after sales service. While we represent some of the finest products on the market and our staff is expertly qualified, customer confidence has been achieved by knowing we are always available to respond to emergencies. All of our products come with a warranty, which is backed by readily available technicians.
GUARDING
Our Guards check-in every hour using a Guard Electronic Protection System (GEPS). A rigorous Selection Process means we have the best Guards for our Customers. All new Guards go through an intensive Training Programme. Our training is designed and run by an ex-Army Officer using proven training techniques. Self Defense is taught so that the Guard knows what to do in a potentially dangerous situation. Search Techniques are covered to give the skills needed to discover stolen property in a car, on a person or in the open. Patrolling instruction is given so that the Guard covers the designated area instead of remaining in one place where potential thieves can see him. First Aid & Fire Fighting are covered so that Guards can offer assistance should the need arise. A course in Courtesy and Dealing with the Public is given so that Guards will give your clients the right impression. We have an incentive programme to reward Guards when they give information leading to the discovery of a crime.
ALARM RESPONSE
KK is committed to the provision of the best Alarm Response Service wherever we operate. Our Crews are trained to deal with Medical, Fire and Security Emergencies. We track all Vehicles via satellite, we equip the vehicles to the highest standard and in critical areas staff the Vehicles to offer a truly robust response. We install State-of-the-Art Alarm equipment at our customer's premises and receive Alarm Signal in fully equipped Control Centres throughout our areas of operation. Data is recorded in the Control Centres to allow us to verify Alarm Signals and track subsequent actions taken.
GUARD DOGS
A well-trained, properly handled dog is one of the best deterrents in Africa. KK imports its dogs from South Africa where the dogs are bigger and have the key elements of control taught from a young age. Clearly a competent Guard Dog is nothing without its Handler. The same attention to detail goes into Handler training and both Dog and Man are permanently 'teamed' to offer a key part of your security defense.
CLOSE PROTECTION
Global Security Trends
As the nature of global security changes, so the nature of personal security must accommodate these changes. When insurance premiums and the need to further protect valuable company assets increases as a result, so do corporate entities demand specialized personal security for their executives. These repercussions similarly hold true when one's family is considered. Even more so! For this you require professionally trained security officers, who provide security solutions, rather than merely providing body presence.
Training
Our training model is based on the Security Industry Authority specifications for a Level 3 Close Protection Operative (UK & Ireland). The three week CP programme integrates knowledge based and practical skills training for CP core competency, including:
Communications & Conflict Management
Surveillance Awareness & Reconnaissance
Threat & Risk Assessment
Operational Planning
Advanced First Aid
Individuals selected for training, undergo rigorous selection and vetting, and pride themselves in their adaptability and decisiveness.
Our CP Team & Services
Our services cover both corporate and personal requirements for the short or long term. With a team comprising Close Protection Operatives and Security Trained Drivers, we provide security cover for Escorts, Convoys, Personal Protection and Team Assignments. These services are linked into our resource base meaning that they have value added security. Our well established regional footprint and international partners mean that we can extend our services globally.
EVENT SAFETY & SECURITY
"We don't supply uniformed bodies for show! We actually give the event the special attention it needs, so that the event owners and organisers can focus their energies elsewhere." Several unfortunate incidents have been witnessed at major events both locally and internationally. The international community has responded with great strides in the development of systems and training that have had a major impact in risk reduction at events.
With no similar steps being made in the region, we took up the challenge and initiated our Event Safety & Security Department. As the name suggests, we consider more than just the security needs at events. We go further by developing and facilitating safety profiles, based on globally established models, adjusted to suit local conditions. We believe that we can be a major player in the growth and development of standards of local events.
Personnel Requirements
We are familiar with the scenes we see and hear regarding international events, where event visitors are greeted and welcomed by friendly security marshals. The atmosphere is warm and family friendly.
Until now, we have not experienced this kind of security at home. Our Event Trained Security Officers (ETSOs), selected from our force of over 3,000 security officers, undergo a 3 week training programme that includes Communication, Conflict Management, PR & Etiquette and Crowd Control, as well as specific considerations for sporting events, conferences and concerts. They are also emergency-prepared with knowledge and skills based training in Disaster Management and Advanced First Aid
Services
Aside from our on-the-day management of an event's safety and security, we carry out comprehensive event-site surveys and provide detailed operational planning in Emergency & Contingency Management, Accreditation Mapping & Design and Crowd Movement & Control. We deliver security briefings for local and international event participants, media and visitors, as well as for other members of the stakeholder team. We also carry out post-event analyses and make recommendations for future editions of the events as carried in our Post-Event Safety & Security Reports.
Our emphasis is on the management and facilitation of safety and security for large-scale, high-profile events such as the Tusker Safari Sevens, Standard Chartered Nairobi International Marathon, Tusker Athletics International, and the Rhino Charge among others. Our strengths lie in the development of security solutions for these high-profile sporting events, concerts and conferences.

TRACKER DOG SERVICES
KK Security has deployed a highly accredited German Pointer tracker dog (illustrated above) recently imported from Kenya and formerly Germany. This dog is available at charge to be discussed between both parties. These dogs are an excellent asset tracker and recovery means possessing the ability to pursue scents up to 10 km. This facility represents added value for money and a severe deterrent to any 'would be' criminals knowing that we have the capability to follow their footsteps right to their front door.
This asset is ideally suited to the Commercial and Agricultural sectors.

ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS
We supply and install the full range of Access Control Systems from Syris. These range from Proximity Readers to Biometric Fingerprint and Palm Readers. The software available ranges from standard Access Control to Fingerprint and Time & Attendance Packages.
These systems can be installed Individual Stand-alone Access Control Systems or as a network of systems connected to the LAN. The systems are used to:
To monitor the movement of staff and obtain details of their time and attendance.
To control access of staff and visitors into specific areas
To restrict unauthorized entrance to certain areas for junior staff, etc.
To generate reports that will be useful to management.
Each part of the system is powered by individual power supply units (supplied from a single source), with battery backup, to ensure smooth operation for at least three hours during power outages (based on sufficient recharge time). Larger backup power supply units can be installed for extended battery operation, should it be required. This system is easily upgradeable and extra doors can be controlled if the need arises. The proximity cards can be printed on with the Company logo and user photo, thus doubling up as an identity card as well as access control card.
CCTV SYSTEMS & REMOTE OFF-SITE MONITORING AND RECORDING OF CCTV USING 3G/EDGE/GPRS
Live video footage is live streamed to the KK Security hardened control room. Such off site monitoring portrays another or secondary security layer of deterrence and detection. In the event of an alarm activation or visually detected incident, those monitoring can seek assistance with those on the ground for assistance and or response to the incident point/location. This is a very effective tool for remote sites where there is no internet or LAN connection. The video images can be monitored and recorded over the 3G network in the Control Room, whilst the DVR
